Key Responsibilities:
Planning, Tracking and Monitoring of Operational ExcellenceInitiatives related to Energy Management
Providing support to all stakeholders for ensure smooth implemenation of different Operational Excellence Initiatives specially related to Energy Management
Ensure successful completion/rollout of all Operational Projects through proper follow up & Reporting
Extensive control on Operational KPIs related to Power
Improvement of Power operational KPIs considering cost , quality & customer satisfaction
Control & Monitor the targets of OPEX & CAPEX
Preparation of Business Cases and calculating NPV, IRR and Payback for different projects
Development & implementation of consolidated operational strategy for key working areas for managing cost saving initiatives to accomplish cost targets
Ensure quality in power installations across the network
Timely delivery towards internal & external customers
Developing synergies amongst multiple teams and regions for business targets achievement
Coordination with regional teamsfor tracking respective targets
Provding support in preparation of the contract documents with different stakeholders related to power projects
Timely meetings with suppliers and internal stake holders to ensure that project is according to the agreed schedule and guidelines
Escalate problems and delays to management for timely resolution
Load calculations (AC/DC) on the existing system and elaborating power enhancement requirements for the new equipment adding to network
Preparingforecasts for CAPEX, OPEX and Savings with close coordination with different stakeholders
Working on Global Cost Benchmarking project for Infrastructure Deployment
Preparing monthly reports for Forecasted vs. Actual and highlighting the areas of improvement
Preparing presentations and analysis for higher management for different Operational Excellence Projects
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
Solid Understanding of Operational Excellence overall specially in the area of Energy Management
Sound knowledge of Power related projects that can bring savings in the network
Solid understanding of the Power and Access areas in GSM network
Excellent analytical skills in business case evaluations and preparations
Hands on experience in project evaluation techniques i.e NPV, payback period & IRR calculations
Excellent writing skills and experience in financial analysis
Excellent computer skills - mastering of all Microsoft office programs (particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Ability to handle heavy work load effectively and efficiently
Have strong analytical skills (comfortable with lots of data and ability to analyze, understand and recommend solutions to complex problems)
Have process oriented approach towards problem solving
Good presentation and communication skills are very important
