ESO Officer ( Contractual)
Position Purpose:
ESO officer will be responsible for management of IT operations in his/her domain i.e., Installing and configuring desktop/laptop hardware, operating systems and applications and communication with vendor and client end support. Troubleshooting of IT related issues and providing optimal solution. Also work on different on-going projects and initiatives
Area of Interest: IT Solutions
Location: Quetta
Degree(s)/Major(s): BS (Comp Sc.), BCSE(Comp Sc.), Computer Graduate
Experience Required: 0 to 2 year.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of network and IT infrastructure.
Management of operations running on current infrastructure.
Providing services to internal customers and maintaining operations 24×7.
Document Control, project reporting, IT and network inventory management.
Vendor coordination for operations and maintenance.
Franchise support for VPN and applications.
Work on different projects and assignments.
Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
Track user calls and resolve on IT helpdesk.
Must be able to handle heavy work load effectively and efficiently.
Must be able to work under pressure to troubleshoot in minimum possible time
Must have solution finding approach
Must be able to work on odd timings and weekends in cases of emergencies
Must have the ability to keep the updated knowledge on related technologies
Must have innovative and initiative approach
Must be an excellent team player.
Good Communication skills
To remain available 24×7 for providing technical guidance to Telenor Pakistan staff or other IT teams regarding all urgent requests related to any his/her domain.
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
Must hold graduation degree in computer science from a repute university/Institute.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software usage and troubleshooting.
Experience in related field will be preferred
Knowledge of SCCM, Active directory/Exchange management, Antivirus server management will be preferred.
Resident of locality will be preferred
