The Swiss Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan is looking for young energy to the position of political and economic issues, which will support the diplomatic section of the embassy, under the direct supervision of Deputy Mission Chief. This is a poison based full time in Islamabad with an attractive salary package and benefits.
Mandatory requirements:
* Master's degree in political science, economics, journalism, history or other related social sciences.
* At least 3 years experience in a similar position in government non-governmental organizations, media, academia or foreign diplomatic mission.
* Good knowledge of the system of government of Pakistan, foreign and domestic policy, the main economic and social trends and a strong network of contacts.
* Excellent communication skills in English and Urdu (spoken and written).
Qualification other assets:
* Strong skills in Windows-based environment.
* Excellent research, analysis, planning, organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
* Prior knowledge of Switzerland. Or the knowledge of a Swiss national language is an asset.
* A team player, effective communicator, creative analytical thinker, active learner.
* Good understanding of current events and national context.
* Efficient and reliable, establishes priorities to meet deadlines, able to organize workload and achieve results under pressure.
* Strong ability to draft general correspondence, communications, media releases and speeches.
* Willingness to travel within the country and Afghanistan.
