The Systems Security Administrator is responsible for all aspects of systems administration, security and compliance which include applications, servers, databases, and network management solutions.
The job involves implementation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, security and usage monitoring of system and servers.
Work is performed with a limited amount of independence.
REQUIREMENTS:
-BE/BA/BS degree and A minimum of five (4) years of experience in network and Systems administration.
-At least three (3 years) of those years must include specific experience as a systems administrator in a complex LAN/WAN environment utilizing Windows tools.
-Knowledge of current hardware and software platforms is required.
-Knowledge of Windows (XP, NT, 2000 or 2003), Internet Explorer, MS Outlook and MS Exchange.
-Knowledge of hardware, servers and other network peripherals
-Preferred certifications: MCSE/CCNA/MCP or relevant.
-TCP/IP and routing protocols
Windows 2003 and Active Directory administration
Cisco router programming and configuration
Antivirus administration and management
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work requires extensive work using a computer. Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.
MAIN DUTIES:
-Update of patches and service packs on servers.
-Provide weekly report of the systems, usage and databases.
-Management of the antivirus server, deployment of antivirus on the workstations and servers.
-Weekly report showing changes to AD, expired passwords, locked out accounts, disabled users, new users,
-Weekly backup report for servers
-Weekly vulnerability scan of all the workstations and weekly report for all workstations and servers
-provide support for the helpdesk staff on critical issues .
-Health check of all the servers, workstations and equipments and ensuring that the systems are working as expected and without any vulnerabilities.
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
