The Head of Business support will work closely with the Director - Administration to ensure that the administrative
activities of the schools are standardized and meet the objectives of
the Pre-University Directorate and are in line with the QF guidelines.
The incumbent is also responsible for studying and identifying the IT
system requirements for schools.
Key Result Areas:
Conduct an assessment and evaluation of the K-12 educational institutions administration requirements and make recommendations for improvement opportunities.
Perform the unification of the K-12 educational institutions administrative policies and procedures ensuring that they meet the overall guidelines of Pre-University Education and QF.
Support in the project life cycle of all educational institutions from identifying partnership to the overall setup and operation (ex. Infrastructure, IT matters etc..).
Follow up on the outcome of audit reports in coordination with the Director - Administration and ensure that the schools are putting in the appropriate measures to make the requested fixes/changes.
Monitor schools administration activities in coordination with the Director - Administration ensuring that they meet the required standards and recommend improvement opportunities to enhance performance of the K-12 institutions to the Executive Director.
Identify the schools requirements that will enhance its administrative activities and make recommendations on their implementation.
Study and identify the IT system requirements for the K-12 institutions and provide recommendation on systems that should be standardized and used by all the K-12 institutions.
Oversee the implementation of any IT system within the K-12 institutions ensuring that they are completed on time with all the requirements being met.
Coordinate with consultants/designers for the school architecture ensuring that all designs meet the overall image and requirements of Qatar Foundation.
Perform all the logistics and administrative requirements of the Department and new institutions are handled and coordinated accurately to avoid any delays.
Handle the exceptional requests for schools in coordination with the Director - Administration and ensure that the appropriate approvals are obtained in order to meet the school’s requirements.
Bachelor Degree Business with an academic background; Master Degree preferred.
Eight years of experience in the education sector.
Knowledge of local and internal protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Strong negotiation skills.
Computer literacy: MS windows applications (word processing, excel, spreadsheets, power point...).
Fluency in English; Arabic preferred.
