• To ensure efficient operation of all plumbing, installation, water and steam lines included.
• To maintain a high level in performing his duties and responsibilities.
• To develop a solid operational knowledge of all engineering operational procedures.
• To repair all plumbing installation in order to keep an efficient operating equipment.
• To build new lines after having the authorization from the Chief of Engineering.
• To submit reports to the Director of Engineering on the condition of the equipment and the building.
• To regularly inspect all plumbing and sanitary equipment sumps and grease traps and drains.
• To regularly inspect all pipe ducts, public toilets, lockers rooms and kitchens to check for leaks.
• To install new piping systems, with copper, mild steel or plastic pipes.
• To clean out all blocked drains and grease traps.
• To carry out all alterations to plumbing and piping systems.
• To assist other tradesmen as and when necessary.
• To maintain all company’s hand tools and power tools in good condition
• Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship
• At least 3 years related experience
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
