Minimum Experience 8 to 10 Years experience in a large modern power plant in relevant field of work is required. Experience on (WEIR/SIR/SHI) MSFEs Units and Waste Heat Recovery Boilers/Aux.Blrs. is preferable. Must be proficient in computer application programs like Excel, MS word, and MS Project and experience in computer based maintenance management systems will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities Plan and execute routine maintenance job for the specific plant are assigned
Plan and manage time and manpower for executing the annual and major overhauls and prepare overhaul work details for Mechanical Plants/Equipment with regard to Distillers and its auxiliaries assigned.
Supervise and monitor the progress of all types of routine, breakdown and planned maintenance activities, so as to minimize down time for the equipment for increased plant availability
To carry out engineering investigation of plant defects as necessary and under take other engineering investigation and test work.
To order plant spares and set track stock level so as to avoid shortage of spares during major overhaul of the plant for increased plant availability

To assist in the preparation of technical specification for contract works and under takes technical supervision of contractors.
To assist in preparing budgetary proposals for assigned job
To participate in the identification and correction of engineering problems as directed by Unit Head.
