Job Detail
* Monitor network’s performance and ensure all SLA’s and KPI’s are met
* Take ownership of network faults and planned/unplanned service interruptions; manage them through to resolution or escalate when required
* Ensure all faults and service interruptions are captured in the trouble ticketing systems, provide regular and accurate updates
* Implement work orders (configuration management) which involve and/or impact the transmission network
* Interface with vendors and provide assistance to peer departments to ensure all SLA’s and KPI’s are met
* Follow all processes and procedures, identify and inform the transmission team leader of any improvements required
Essential Skills
* Have understanding of transmission network in telecom sector
* Have strong analytical skills and troubleshooting methodologies to resolve issues and prevent similar issues in future
* Should have relevant experience on Huawei SDH/DWDM family products, NGSDH, BWS1600, LDI OSN series etc Tellabs 81xx, NEC Paso, NEO, IPasolink etc, Alcatel MPR MW
Desirable Skills
TCP/IP, MPLS, CCNA certification will be preferred
Should be proficient in MS Office Suite
