Essential Requirements:
-- Recent experience in Telecom Multinational Company or Banking
-- Currently at Assistant Manager -- or one step below
-- Recent experience in Trade Finance
-- Recent experience in Trade Finance
The ideal candidate should:
-- Hold a master’s degree preferably MBA-Finance
-- Have 5 years of work experience with minimum two years of experience in trade finance in a telecommunication company or a bank.
Job Description:
-- Manage letter of credit, import contract issuance; amendments and retirement of trade instruments for imports
-- Oversee bank guarantee & shipping guarantee management; issuance, extension and cancellation
-- Coordinate with banks for trade related processes following letter of credit; import contract, bank guarantee & letter of guarantee issuance
-- Manage exchange rate negotiations and stay up to date on information related to Forex markets.
-- Review services contracts and provide feedback to various departments on relevant areas
-- Coordinate with State Bank of Pakistan and software export board for registration approvals for payments against services contracts
-- Coordinate with stakeholders within and outside the company to oversee treasury and trade reporting
-- Handle purchase order reviews according to company standard payment terms
-- Oversee penalty calculations and imposition on delayed shipments
-- Update and maintain treasury operational reports
Essential Skills:
-- Be proficient in operating MS Office suite especially word, excel and power point
-- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
