Our client, a mining and exploration company seeks experienced, energetic and committed professionals for the following roles based in Islamabad.
Director Corporate Affairs
This position directs and controls the communications and public relations, government relations and community relations activities in line with the strategic vision of the company. Also enhance the organizations reputation with the public, investors, stake holders, media, national and provincial governments and the communities in which the Company has presence and its employees.
Accountabilities
The incumbent will be responsible for keeping all stake holders informed of company activities, objectives and accomplishments through the conceptualization, preparation, publication and distribution of all reports, news releases, interviews, and all other forms of communications in all applicable forms of media.
Should be well-versed in government relations having meaningful contacts with national and provincial government officials.
Must have proven experience with various media formats including newspapers, journals, television, film and electronic.
Must have a proven media network of contact in Pakistan. Contacts in International media would be major plus.
Must have a demonstrated ability to manage and lead a department of multi-talented, multimedia professionals.
Qualification & Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in related discipline. However, Master’s would be preferred.
Minimum of fifteen (15) years working experience in corporate public relations, journalism, communications, government and community relations roles is required.
Work experience with multi-national companies and extensive global expose is a major plus.
