HEC POST DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS APPLICATIONS INVITED
ONLINE APPLICATIONS are invited from Pakistan / AJK Nationals, holding PhD degree and meeting following eligibility criteria for “HEC Post-Doctoral Fellowships”. This programme provides an excellent opportunity to faculty members of Public and Private sector universities / Degree Awarding Institutes (DAIS) and R&D scientists for further development in their respective fields of specialization in technologically advanced countries of the world.
Basic Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must:
· Hold a PhD Degree from an HEC recognized university.
· Maximum 50 years of age on closing date (i.e. 31st January, 2013).
· Be a regular employee of HEC recognized Public/Private Sector Universities / DAIs or Public Sector R&D organization as identified by PCST,
· Submit a clearly written research proposal, relevant to the current job that is recommended / endorsed by the authorized officer of respective organization.
· Provide documentary evidence of placement in a reputed university/ institute of any technologically advanced country of the world along with detailed CV of the host supervisor.
· The host university must be listed in top 200 universities as per the latest QS World University Ranking. In Case of placement in a Research Institute, it must be recognized and of international repute.
· Not have availed Post-Doctoral Fellowship by HEC in the last five (05) years.
Duration of Fellowship: 9-12 Months
Application Procedure:
· Prospective candidates should fill in the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM available at HEC website (www.hec.gov.pk/postdoc) and POST the TWO SEPARATE SETS of printed application form along with documentary evidence of placement in foreign Universities / Institutes, CV of host supervisor, detailed research proposal and attested testimonials ‘Through Proper Channel)’ on the address given below, on or before 31st January, 2013.
· ONLY ONLINE PRINTED APPLICATON FORM will be entertained.
· Scholarship details and selection criteria are also available on HEC website.
· No application will entertained/processed having incomplete information without giving any reasons.
