The University of Lahore requires teaching faculty as Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors,
Lecturers and Lab Instructors in the Computer Science discipline.
Professors: (Job Code: UOL-CS.PRF)
Minimum Qualification: PhD in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution
Experience: Till June 2012, 12- years teaching! research experience in a recognized Institution!
College! University or 1 2-years professional experience in the relevant field in a Notional or International
organization out of which 5-years must be teaching experience.
OR
l0-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate
Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization
Minimum Number of Publications: 12 research publications with at least 3 publications in the last 5
years up till 2012 in HEC/PEC recognized ¡ournals
Associate Professors: (Job Code: UOL-CS-AP)
Minimum Qualification: PhD in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution
Experience: Till June 2012, 07-years teaching/research experience in o recognized Institution!
College/University or 7-years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International
Organization out of which 2-years must be teaching experience.
5-years post PhD teaching! research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate
Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a Notional or International organization.
Minimum Number of Publications: 8 research publications with at least 2 publications in the last 5
years up till 2012 in HEC/PEC recognized journals
Assistant Professors: (Job Code: UOL-CS.ASP)
Minimum Qualification: PhD in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution
Experience: No experience required
OR
Minimum Qualification: Master’s degree (awarded after 18 years of education) in the relevant field
from HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career
Experience: 2-years teaching/research experience in a recognized Institution/U niversity/Col loge.
or 2-years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
Lecturer: (Job Code: UOL-CS-LEC)
Minimum Qualification: Master’s degree (awarded after 1 8 years of education)! B. Sc (Engr.) in the
relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career
Experience: No experience required
Lab Instructors: (Job Code: UOL.CS-LTech)
Minimum Qualification: MCS/M. Sc Computer Science!BSCS/B. Sc Computer Science from HEC
recognized University/Institution
