Under the overall supervision of Chief of Mission and under the direct
supervision of Chief Migration Health Physician the incumbent will
perform the following function
To perform his duties with strictadherence to bio-safety measures
To ensure data protection andpractice the principles of confidentiality in all aspects of his work
To assist in sputum collection,processing, staining, microscopy, Liquid and solid culture.
To assist in cleaning and general maintenanceof the laboratory equipments.
To assist in daily Preparation of requiredLaboratory solutions/reagents.
To assist in proper laboratory wastedisposal.
To assist in maintenance oftemperature charts on all required instruments.
To assisting in store keeping andmaintain all log books.
To assist in proper maintenance of laboratory machines andinstruments.
To assist in accurate recording on log books and entry ofresults of all examinations into laboratory database.
To operate water distiller and insuring sufficient supply.
Any other duty as may be assigned by the Laboratory Manager/Supervisor
