Education Development Centre Inc. an international donor funded
organization is looking tor Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID Teacher
Education Project in Pakistan. Based in Islamabad the DCOP-Operations is
responsible for directing the USAID Teacher Education Project’s
operations, grants, HR and communications functions. This is a critical,
senior-level position responsible for coordinating across several
departments to improve work flow, transparency, and performance. The
individual selected will be a self-driven, organized, principled,
team-player, with demonstrated management experience in establishing and
supervising high-performing teams, and delivering donor funded projects
on task and on budget in a fast-paced, high-risk environment. The term
of the employment will be from December 2012 till September 2013.
Eligibility:
Candidates will possess at a minimum either an MA with 15 years of experience or a PhD with 5 years of experience, excellent command of English, exceptional understanding of USAID rules and regulations specific to cooperative agreements.
