My client is going through an exciting period of change and development and is looking for an individual who is able to add real strategic value to the organisation and who will be responsible for the implementation of category management principles within their assigned category of spend.

- Have significant past experience of procurement category management across a number of indirect procurement categories such as IT hardware, IT software, Professional Services, HR or marketing procurement.
- Ideally have previous experience working in a public sector or charitable organisation.
- Have the ability to develop and implement the procurement and category management strategy within the organisation.
- Be CIPS qualified or equivalent and degree educated or equivalent.
- Increase the profile of procurement within the organisation and help to define the category management strategy for a number of key indirect procurement categories.
- Manage the full end to end procurement lifecycle.
- Regularly interact with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop their career within an organisation that makes a genuine difference to the lives of hundreds of thousands of people every year.
