Under the overall guidance of Country Programme Director and direct supervision of Program officer KP/FATA , the Programme Analyst provides support and management in execution of services in the CO programme Unit, supports the design, planning and management of the KP/FATA programme by managing data and facilitating programme implementation. The Programme Analyst promotes a partners-oriented approach consistent with UN Women rules and regulations.
The Programme Analyst assists in the coordination of the KP /FATA Programme Unit in close coordination with WPS Program specialist and the Programme team. The Programme Analyst works in close collaboration with the operations, others programme and project teams in KP office, the CO and UN Women Regional and HQs staff for resolving complex programme-related issues and information delivery.
Supports formulation of programme strategies and implementation of the Provincial Programme Action Plan focusing on achievement of the following results:
· Presentation of thoroughly researched information for preparation of call for proposals.
· Provide support in holding of meetings and workshops , such as International Peace Keeping Day, workshops and events with Government of KP, and FATA secretariat, FDMA, including development of concept notes, making travel arrangements, etc.
· Liaise with CSO partners for any queries regarding the RFPs and other activities.
· Collation of donor reports with input from team members.
· Provide programmatic support in the processing of the project proposals.
· Provide relevant support in the development of induction and project briefs.
· Support internal documentation system.
· Develop concept notes and project briefs as and when required.
· Any other work as directed by CPD or Sr.Program officer, KP.

Required Skills
Minimum one to two years experience in working in the development sector, Government, NGOs and international organizations on development issues, with strong experience in Gender and Development (GAD) issues and programmes;
Advanced degree in social sciences focus on gender /development issues considered an asset
Experience of providing administrative and/or secretarial support to programme.
Experience of meeting/event management.
Strong communication and writing skills in English.
Knowledge about working environment of KP/FATA
Additional knowledge of regional languages will be an asset
