OVERVIEW:
Production Support Engineer is responsible of daily planning and prioritising of production including operation of utility systems and the oil and gas export.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Engineering, Process Engineering, Marine Engineering or equivalent
Western experience required
At least 10yrs experience in a similar role
Operator background
ROLE:
The Production Support team is responsible of daily planning and prioritizing of production including operation of utility systems and the oil and gas export.
Ensures that technical, economical and safety aspects of all matters within the area of responsibility are assessed.
The job includes close interact with other departments on- and offshore in order to ensure optimal and safe production and efficient planning of
offshore maintenance and project activities.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
-Day to day operational, technical and process support to offshore activities.
-Coordination between offshore and other departments.
-Contribute to proactive production planning.
-Contribute to continuous improvement of safety and environmental integrity of the offshore installations.
-Project commenting and participation in start up of new equipment.
-10 to 15 offshore days per year to be expected.
