Job Description
The Network Engineer is responsible for overall network operation , administration & management of customer network.
• Responsible for performing advanced Support and routine complex troubleshooting activities, working independently under minimal supervision.
• Resolve customer requests, issues in line with customer agreements with agreed schedule to required quality standards• Ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction levels exceed targets
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications –
a. Bachelor degree within the IT or equivalent
b. Minimum of 4 years experience in the network industry;
c. CCNP certification is minimum requirement
d. Must have worked in ITIL environment
e. Minimum of two years on large network environment for mission critical support environment and a minimum of two years product knowledge acquired through a mixture of empirical and formal certification
f. Must have managed 7-10 people team
g. The ability to communicate technical details and concepts to at least senior management level within a customer organization,
h. In depth knowledge of and experience with Nortel 7480 & Muliplexer, CSU/DSU and DWDM equipments.
